Due to the failure of talks on Friday at Bengaluru between producers and the digital service providers Cube, UFO, PXD, all four regional language industries of South India producers have decided to stop giving the content to those three digital service providers. Responding to this protest, Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce president chairman Pratani Ramakrishna Goud also said that they too are supporting this protest. He told, from past 10 years we are fighting against the digital providers to decrease the rates, but no one has supported us. At least now all the producers of South India have started protesting against the digital rates.

On Friday, the three digital service providers have clearly stated that they are not going to decrease beyond 9%, actually, digital services should stop charing after five years, even after 13 years still they are collecting the same charges and creating trouble to the film producers. Except for south India, there are no such charges in North India and Hollywood. Earlier some digital service companies came up with an offer that they will provide the digital service just for 2500, but some corporates have managed them not to enter into their business. Now due to these higher charges, many films are not able to release their films.

If Cube, UFO, PXD are ready to cancel the agreement, many other companies are offering to provide the digital services. So, from March 2nd entire South Indian Film Industry is going to strike against the digital provers by stopping theatre to play movies. TFCC secretary Sai Venkat has requested everyone to support them. He also thanked Gemini Kiran and D. Suresh Babu who are supporting them.
