Biography
Vijay Devarakonda was born in Achampet, Telangana to Govardhan and Madhavi Devarakonda. His schooling at Sri Satya Sai higher secondary school at Puttaparthi had a great impact on the star's creative mutation. He wanted to write a book at age 4 and get it published but his parents passed it off as a quip. He debuted as an actor in Shekhar Kammula's Life is beautiful but the role was too minor to prove himself. His next flick Yevade Subramanyam with Nani earned him critical acclaim and won the hearts of Telugu audience. His later venture with director Tharun Bhasker 'Pellichoopulu' exploded at the box office and recorded first huge hit for the star. His latest flick Arjun Reddy is considered a game changer in the Telugu film industry and made him climb the pedestal of fame. Vijay had already begun shooting for his next flick with director Parasuram under Geetha Arts banner.
