Biography
Daughter of veteran Bollywood super star Shakti Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor was born on March 3rd, 1987. She had a fascination for acting and singing since a young age and used to perform to the Bollywood numbers. After leaving for Boston University for a major in Psychology, She was offered her first role in Teen Patti at the age of 16. She acted along side Amithab Bachan, Ben Kingsley and R.Madhavan. She was nominated for a Film Fare Award for best female Debut. She was shot to fame for her role as a singer in the critically acclaimed Aashiqui. Her role as Sia in Bhaagi and Arisha Lone in Haider made her one of the top female stars in Hindi Cinema.
The actress has acted in over a 13 films and is currently shooting for Prabhas's Sahoo which marks her debut into the Tollywood Industry.
