Maruthi

Maruthi is one of the leading young Tollywood directors known for his inventive filmmaking. Maruthi gained a reputation after shooting his first film 'Ee Rojullo' with a 5D camera which won him the best debut director award at SIIMA. His films invoke good laugh and emotions while embedding a good social message within. Maruthi worked with Daggubati Venkatesh for Babu Bangaram and also young stars like Nani and Sharwanand.

All his films, Ee Roojullo, Prema Katha Chitram, Babu Bangaram, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Mahanubhavudu were well received by the audience.

Maruthi used to paint sign boards and number plates of the vehicles to pay his tuition fees, while in Hyderabad, pursuing animation.
